General conditions of sale, taxes and shipping costs

1 / Acceptance of the general conditions of sale:

When you place an order on the site www.picota-picota.org, checking the box "I have read the general conditions of sale and I accept them" before confirming the order, implies acceptance of the conditions terms of sale.

 

2 / The sale:

The sales contract starts when the payment by check joined with the order form is cashed or when the payment by Paypal transfer or by bank card has been confirmed. Our registration in the PICOTI PICOTA trade and companies register with share capital of 7,000 euros - 441,775,939 RCS Lorient.

 

3 / Delivery time:

PICOTI PICOTA undertakes to deliver the goods ordered within 2 to 4 days with a distributor to be defined by colissimo followed (2 days maximum taking into account of the order, its preparation and sending + 2 days of guaranteed delivery by post) and from 1 to 3 days with Chronopost International (maximum 2 days of taking into account the order, its preparation and shipment + 1 day of guaranteed delivery by Chronopost International) for a shipment to the France. For other European countries the delivery time varies between 1 and 7 days depending on the service chosen and is around 2 to 30 days for the rest of the world depending on the service chosen (allow 2 to 5 days of delivery with Chronopost International which whatever the country of destination.). Shipments are made at normal speed by French post (“Colissimo monitoring” service with delivery against signature and insurance) or at high speed by the company Chronopost International depending on the choice of the customer at the time of his order.

In the event of a very urgent delivery request, it is imperative to notify this urgency in the "comment" window usable during the order or to call us. PLEASE NOTE: we ship orders with Chronopost International every day at 5 p.m.

A delivery deadline will be communicated (to the French customer or to the customer coming from the European Economic Community only) before the conclusion of the sales contract and this just before the payment of the order (this date is calculated according to working days and does not does not take into account public holidays, Saturdays and Sundays). In case of exceeding this deadline of 7 days, the French or European consumer of the EEC can request the resolution of the sale except in case of force majeure: deficiency of the posts of the country of the recipient (loss of parcel, non delivery despite a correct address, failure to issue a transit advice note, strike, etc.) or error on the part of the consumer and / or recipient (error or insufficient address when ordering, non-withdrawal of the package following a pending proceeding, absence ).

In these latter cases PICOTI PICOTA undertakes to locate by the carriers' systems the lost package or packages and to re-dispatch them (at the addressee's expense in the event of a breach thereof). PICOTI PICOTA cannot be held responsible if the stock has changed between the date of updating the pages and the date of your order or if several customers have ordered several identical items at the same time. If in doubt, you can always ask us for more information by phone or email. Any unavailability or specific manufacturing delay is also noted on the site's pages and product sheets.

If we cannot obtain a product from our suppliers, we will notify you, as soon as this information reaches us, of the delay expected by email or telephone. You can then choose to cancel your order, based on this new information. No cancellation penalty will be applied for such an order cancellation.

 

4 / Guarantee of the goods:

All our goods are checked before sending and are under warranty. This is 1 or 2 years depending on the manufacturer or the distributor of the item ordered. The warranty does not apply in the event of abnormal use of the product.

 

5 / Price fixing:

The prices of the products presented on the site are subject to change based on price changes made by manufacturers, promotions or launch prices. All prices are given subject to manifest typographical error. PICOTI PICOTA reserves the right to cancel an order based on a glaring price error.

 

6 / Transport:

Goods traveling in appropriate packaging are all checked by us before dispatch and delivered by transport professionals. If you want different delivery locations, it is your responsibility to place separate orders.

Despite all the care taken in executing your order, it may be that certain objects have suffered deterioration during transport. In this case, you must first contact us and then return us carefully (protection and timing essential) the damaged or defective goods at normal speed and in the original shipping carton. On the other hand, we ask you to keep the original packing slip intact (do not tear it, do not stick the new packing slip on it) by protecting it with a sheet of paper glued or taped only at the four corners . After verification, we will replace them at our expense.

If you notice a deterioration of the packaging, you must imperatively have a verbal report drawn up with the carrier or not accept the package. Without these reservations, the product is legally deemed to have been delivered in good condition, and cannot be subject to subsequent dispute with the carriers or us.

If you notice that your parcel does not reach you within the time guaranteed by the post or Chronopost International listed in point 3 / (after receipt by E-mail of confirmation of the dispatch of your order), you must first contact your distributor office for the post office (the first presentations are not always the subject of a proceeding, in fact, the packages are to be collected at your distributor post office with an identity document) or contact us for Chronopost International .

The amount of the shipping costs is fixed according to the real weight of each package and the carrier.

 

10 / Retraction:

French customers or nationals of the European Economic Community have a period of 7 clear days from the delivery day to exercise their right of withdrawal without having to justify reasons or pay penalties, with the exception of return fees.

When this right is exercised, PICOTI PICOTA will reimburse, after verification of the returned goods, the sums paid by the customer as soon as possible and at the latest 30 days following the date on which this right was exercised.

Naturally, the product must be able to be sold by us immediately and without any cost of repackaging. This is why you must then return it to us in perfect condition for resale, that is to say, packed in its original packaging, complete and showing no signs of shock or malfunction. The right of withdrawal does not apply to collectibles, products made to order or created in small numbers by artisans. Customers who are resellers cannot benefit from the right of withdrawal.

 

11 / Property:

Unclaimed objects that have been returned to us by the carriers are put back on sale after 6 months.
